According to the notification from the upstream operator, the West 7 Center data center located at LAX triggered a fire alarm at around 7:30 on May 7, 2025 for unknown reasons. In order to reduce the loss, the fire protection system of the data center was automatically activated, and the power supply of all cabinets was cut off, resulting in the power outage of all servers and network equipment in the data center. The failure lasted about 5 hours, and the power facilities have been restored.
We are very sorry for the impact of this failure on you. We have decided to provide compensation to all affected customers and extend the service time of your product by 3 days. You can submit an application through the work order system or online customer service, and we will complete the compensation within 3 working days.
