Hong Kong VPS providers generally offer faster support ticket response times, and many even support Chinese customer service and Alipay payments, making them very user-friendly for mainland China users. Japanese VPS providers, especially those with purely local data centers, often only support Japanese support tickets and credit card payments, and their response times are slower. For businesses with high bandwidth needs, limited budgets, and who don't mind a few tens of milliseconds of latency, optimized lines in Japan offer a more attractive performance-price balance than Hong Kong.
